Houston is the Chief Executive Officer executive Veritas Legacy Management.

Prior to rejoining Veritas in 2022, he was senior vice president of business development at Double Eagle Energy Holdings III, LLC and Double Eagle Energy Permian, LLC, a merger between Veritas Energy, LLC and Double Eagle Energy Holdings, II. Through these various roles, he has been actively involved in building companies focused in the core of the Midland Basin.

Houston earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Midwestern State University. Houston has continued to expand his connections and involvement in the oil and gas industry. He has served as chairman of the Board of Texas Alliance of Energy Producers along with being an active member of the Fort Worth Wildcatters, PBLA, AAPL and FWAPL.
